If you are experiencing a GFE (Group Format Error) this section will attempt to help you.

Note that it is very important that if you have a GFE that everybody stop using the system until it is fixed or data loss could result.

Note also that backing up AREV with anybody logged into AREV, even the Indexer is a sure fire way of getting GFEs. If you currently do this then stop at once and call Sprezzatura to ask for advice!
