Sprezzatura FAQ Pages

Hardware is the term we use when we want to speak about the equipment you use to run your software. It normally includes a keyboard, a mouse, a screen, a computer and a printer although there may be other devices such as modems.

You might like to think of this as being like a TV/Video combination - when it is switched on with no video in, then it is hardware. The act of inserting and playing a video makes it a useful system - before then it was just an expensive paperweight. So too with computers, computers without software are use big ugly paperweights. (Apart fromn the Apple iMac PC which is a moderately attractive paperweight without software).
