We frequently hear complaints that people can't see the AREV menu or the Qualifications menu. The reason for this is simple.

When the system was setup it was decided that only users of a certain "privilege level" were allowed to look at a couple of the system options - specifically AREV and Qualifications. So to access these you must have a privilege level of 1 or 0.

Perversely in the way the system is set up, the higher your privilege level, the less privileged you are! So if you have a privilege level of 3 you won't be able to see level 1 things!
