Length of time (in seconds) that the system should delay after the first "Updating Indexes" since the last keystroke, and before rechecking whether the indices need to be updated. On a single user system this figure should be set to 0 as once the first index check has been made there cannot be index transactions waiting to be processed if there has been no keyboard input. Can be amended.
