QTIPS - Local Language Sets

An attempt to write records to a quickdexed file will fail if the user attempting the write has a different language set to that of the user who created the quickdex in the first place.

This necessary trick to preserve data integrity is accomplished by reference to an item called %LOCAL.GROUP% in the dictionary of the quickdexed file. This will be a single field containing two values. The first is the language set for the quickdex on the dictionary file and the second is the language set for the dictionary on the data file.
