TextAt last an answer to a question that has been plaguing me for aeons! Bruce
Gray of Gray and Associates in CT USA called recently and in the guise of a
query he asked "How do you get AREV to prompt for the user name when logging
in FROM a batch file?"

After I'd given several lengthy suggestions Bruce delivered what I believe
is called the "sucker punch" "No you just type AREV " I've checked this
out and it works If you enter AREV at the DOS prompt AREV will
automatically prompt for the user name I can think of at least three people
out there who are now kicking themselves Thank you Bruce!
